HVLP Spray Gun - The Ideal Choice for Automotive Repair

For automotive repair professionals, choosing the right spray gun tool is crucial. HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray guns are the ideal choice for the automotive repair industry.

The working principle of HVLP spray guns is to use high volume and low pressure air for the coating application. Compared to traditional paint guns, HVLP spray guns have the following advantages:

  1. Higher application efficiency: HVLP spray guns can efficiently atomize the coating material into fine particles, reducing paint loss in the air, thereby significantly improving the transfer efficiency.

  2. Better coating quality: The finely atomized paint particles from HVLP spray guns can cover the automotive surface more evenly, reducing paint buildup and dripping, and improving the coating finish.

  3. More environmentally friendly and energy-saving: The low-pressure spraying process of HVLP spray guns can significantly reduce paint overspray and material waste, thereby reducing environmental pollution. It also reduces the amount of paint required, achieving energy-saving goals.

  4. Easier operation: The ergonomic design of HVLP spray guns makes them more comfortable to hold and control, improving work efficiency.

In automotive repair, HVLP spray guns are mainly applied in the following scenarios:

  1. Small area spot repair on the vehicle body

  2. Secondary topcoat application after dent repair

  3. Vehicle refinishing and color change

  4. Surface treatment of vehicle-mounted accessories

Nozzle Size:

The A604 and A605 models both have a 1.3mm nozzle, suitable for general automotive refinishing work.

The A606 has a smaller 1.0mm nozzle, better suited for more intricate work and confined spaces.

Operating Pressure:

The A605 operates at a higher pressure range of 2.4-3.0bar, providing more atomization power for spraying thicker coatings.

The A604 and A606 run at a lower 2.0bar pressure, making them easier to control for delicate touch-up work.

Spray Pattern Width:

The A605 offers a wider spray pattern of 200-300mm, ideal for efficiently covering larger surface areas.

The A606 has a narrower 130mm pattern, providing more precision control for small repair areas.

The A604 falls in the middle with a 180-260mm pattern, a versatile option for both spot repairs and partial refinishing.

Air Consumption:

The A605 requires more air volume at 5.5cfm, making it better suited for dedicated spray booths or high-capacity air compressors.

The A604 and A606 have lower air consumption of 4.1-4.6cfm, allowing more flexibility in the choice of air supply.

Paint Capacity:

The A604's 500cc cup size provides ample paint holding capacity for larger repair jobs.

The A606's smaller 100cc cup is better suited for touch-up work that requires less paint volume.

The A605 strikes a balance at 400cc, meeting the needs of both partial refinishing and spot repairs.

Customers can choose the model that best fits their specific automotive repair needs and working environment. Our HVLP spray gun series provides the ideal solutions to help automotive repair professionals achieve outstanding painting results.
